There’s a part of me that wants to

Yearns for open seas
Craves the novelty of adventure
Dreams of its own Hero’s Journey
Aspires to find itself in the mystical unknown or
To be extinguished searching for something greater than itself
And while it hasn’t left,
Cannot leave,
There’s another part of me that longs for its return.
